Simone Biles
Simone Biles, American gymnast (born 14 March 1997 in Columbus Ohio U.S.) is considered to be the best athlete in sport. The 2016 Olympics were held in Rio de Janeiro and Biles became the U.S.'s only female gymnast to win 4 gold medals. She also won the world championship for all-around three times consecutively (2013-15). Biles was raised at Spring Texas in the Houston metropolitan area after she and her sister Adria were adopted by their parents Ronald and Nellie Biles. Simone was first introduced to the sport of gymnastics through her daycare instructor Aimee Borman when she was just six years old. She was a student at Bannon's Gymnastix for eleven years. Biles, who won gold and bronze medals at the Women's Junior Olympic National Championships 2010 in vault and floor exercise before her debut in 2011 at the top category of competition. The following year Biles had a dominating performance in the sport. What set Biles apart was the consistency of her exuberant personality and the extreme level of difficulty she incorporated into her routines throughout the four events she competed in: vault uneven bars, balance beam, and floor exercise.
