Lis Wiehl (born September 19, 1960) was born on 19 August 1961. She is an American writer and former legal analyst for Fox News.
She's a professor adjunct of law at New York Law School, and formerly was an associate professor at the University of Washington Law School. Legal commentaries have been provided to National Public Radio and Bill O'Reilly's Radio Factor. She has appeared on weekly shows like The O'Reilly Factor, Your World with Neil Cavuto, The Kelly File alongside Megyn Kelly Lou Dobbs Tonight the Imus morning show and is the host of her own show, the Legal Lis radio show and the Wiehl of Justice podcast.
Wiehl was a graduate of West Valley High School, Yakima. She was born in Yakima. She earned her bachelor's at Barnard College, followed by a master's degree in literature from University of Queensland, in 1985.
Wiehl served as prosecutor at the US Attorney's Office. She was a legal correspondent for the NPR program All Things Considered. She served as "the the deputy chief investigator for Democrats on the House Judiciary Committee at the period of the impeachment of President Clinton." Her tenure at University of Washington School of Law Seattle began in 1995 to 2001. She ran their Trial Advocacy Program. Wiehl worked as a Fox News legal analyst from 2001 until 2017.
